Get one of free sites from blogger.com However, if when you are serious for business I will advice you invest in setting up better site. Don’t know what you sell so may not ask your question of collecting checks online. However, best way is to have your check mailed to you off internet.

Jude this site is wordpress cms blog. You can set up your own wordpress based blog yourself. Get a domain name and have it hosted on platform with provides fantastico.
